Project Scope: Siding Replacement & Exterior Upgrades

The Dockside Condominiums project in Collingwood involves the renovation of 63 townhouse units and a clubhouse, located on Highway 26 and extending to Georgian Bay. Built 30 years ago, the development's cedar clapboard siding has deteriorated, necessitating this extensive facelift. The contract covers exterior cladding replacement, new entrance structures, original window replacements, new entrance and overhead garage doors, and upgrades to attic insulation and ventilation.
The work is phased to ensure resident access and parking. Safe access and protection for residents will be maintained throughout. The objective is to repair building envelope deficiencies, replace wood siding, upgrade exterior elements, construct new entrances, and improve attic insulation and ventilation.
